What is the Reviews Starter plan?

Reviews Starter is ZOOMPOINT’s entry plan for small massage, spa, head spa, nail and lash shops. It doesn’t run Google Ads. Instead it gets your shop’s information, reviews and call handling right on Google Maps and local platforms first. Owners pay only the monthly management fee, with no separate ad budget.

What’s included

9 services, each with a way to check it.

No vague words like “big data marketing” or “smart optimization”. Each item below is a concrete deliverable you can check anytime.

01

Full Google Business Profile optimization

Categories, services and prices, hours, photos and booking link — all filled in correctly. For new shops we handle registration and verification.

How to check: open your Google Business Profile dashboard and you’ll see every item.
02

Listings on 50 local platforms

We submit the same name, address and phone to 50 platforms including Apple Maps, Bing, Yelp and Facebook. Core platforms come first, the rest in batches — usually all submitted within 3 months. Consistent info makes Google trust your shop more.

How to check: after you sign up you get the full list with a link for every platform.
03

AI review invitations New

After each visit, a text automatically invites the client to leave a Google review. Every client is invited — no filtering, no ghost-writing — in line with Google and FTC rules.

How to check: your monthly report lists invitations sent and new reviews.
04

AI review replies + bad-review alerts New

Every review gets a reply. AI drafts it and ZOOMPOINT staff review it before it goes out; for a bad review we message you on WeChat right away so we can decide on the reply together.

How to check: every review on your Google profile has a reply under it.
05

Missed-call text-back New

When a call goes unanswered, the system sends a text in your shop’s voice with a booking link. When the client replies, you or your staff take it from there.

How to check: your monthly report lists auto-replies sent and client replies.
06

Weekly Google Business Profile posts

2–3 posts a week: this week’s offer, new services, holiday events. AI drafts, a person reviews — useful to clients, not filler.

How to check: search your shop name on Google and see them on your profile.
07

Mobile booking website

One-tap call, one-tap directions, online booking link, services and prices. Domain and hosting are included while we work together.

How to check: open the site on your phone once it’s live.
08

Basic AI search optimization New

More and more clients ask ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews “which massage or nail place nearby is good”. We add structured data and an llms.txt file to your website so AI can understand your shop.

How to check: your monthly report includes the structured-data test results.
09

Monthly report

Profile views, calls, direction requests, website clicks, new reviews, average rating — and what we plan to do next month.

How to check: sent to you on WeChat early each month, with data from your Google Business Profile dashboard.
Not included: Google Ads management and ad spend. Once your reviews are in good shape and you want more new clients, you can add Google Ads (+$250 a month, ad spend separate).

Dalin Talks Marketing

Why does Reviews Starter start with your Google Business Profile?

Your profile is the first thing clients see of you on Google Maps. In a few short videos (in Chinese), Dalin explains why it matters so much.

美国开了店,手机却搜不到?商家信息不够丰富
优化好 Google 商家,就像在美食街占到最好的位置
口碑需要长期维护,Google 排名也一样

The first 90 days

What we do in the first quarter, and what you’ll see.

A Google Business Profile usually takes 2–3 months from optimization to visible results. So in the first quarter, we lay out every step for you.

Week 1

Kickoff call + basic setup

We doA WeChat or Zoom kickoff to learn about your shop; optimize your profile; start submitting core platforms like Google, Apple, Bing and Yelp; set up review invitations and missed-call texts
You help withOwner verification for Google and Apple (video, phone call or postcard) — we walk you through it step by step
End of month 1

Your first monthly report

We doLaunch the website, post weekly, reply to every review; submit to the 3 data aggregators and start the directory batches
You seeBaseline numbers: profile views, calls, direction requests, reviews; a status table for the 50 platforms
End of month 2

Second report: now there’s a comparison

We doAdjust profile content and post topics based on the data
You seeHow month 2 compares with month 1, and how many new reviews came in
End of month 3

Quarterly review call (15–30 minutes)

We doFinish submitting all 50 platforms; review three months of results and recommend next steps
You decideRenew for a quarter, add Google Ads, or stop — all fine
Next step

Get reviews right first, then advertise — every ad dollar works harder.

Even after clicking an ad, clients look at stars and reviews first. With solid reviews behind you, more of your ad clicks turn into calls.

Reviews Starter · $299/mo

  • Google profile and 50 platforms set up right
  • Review count and rating growing steadily
  • Missed calls followed up by text
→Once you have 30+ reviews and a 4.5+ rating, we’ll suggest considering ads

Add Google Ads · +$250/mo + ad spend

  • All reviews services stay
  • Google Search and Maps ads added
  • We suggest testing with $300–500 a month in ad spend first
  • Ads billed monthly, no setup fee, add or stop anytime

Upgrading is entirely your call. Your monthly report includes how many people nearby search for your services while you’re not yet on the first screen, for your reference. Head spa owners who want to know roughly what an ad-driven booking costs can read our 2026 Head Spa Industry Report (in Chinese).

FAQ

Reviews Starter questions

What’s the difference between Reviews Starter and adding Google Ads?
Reviews Starter runs no ads and focuses on your Google profile, local platforms, reviews and missed calls — $299 a month, billed quarterly, no ad spend.

When you want more new clients, Reviews Starter clients can add Google Search and Maps ads for $250 a month, billed monthly with no setup fee; ad spend is paid straight to Google. All the reviews services stay.
Without ads, will I really get new clients?
Yes, but more slowly than with ads. Google says local ranking is based mainly on relevance, distance and prominence, and review count and rating are part of prominence (Google Business Profile Help). Once your profile is complete and reviews grow steadily, your shop gets seen more on the map — usually a visible trend within 2–3 months.

We don’t guarantee a ranking position. Be careful with anyone who “guarantees #1 on the map”.
Why is billing quarterly only?
Google profiles and reviews take 2–3 months to show results. Quarterly billing gives us a full 3 months to deliver, and gives you a quarterly review to judge whether it’s worth continuing. You’re billed every 3 months and can stop at the end of any quarter.
Can I stop partway through a quarter?
If you choose to stop mid-quarter, that quarter isn’t refunded; you can stop at the end of the quarter, and we remind you on WeChat 14 days before. If we didn’t deliver the listed services, we refund pro rata.
I already have a Google Business Profile. Do I still need this plan?
Most shops’ profiles are only half done: services not listed, few photos, no booking link, reviews unanswered for months. On a call we can check yours for free and tell you what could be improved.
What are the 50 platforms? Will my shop end up on sketchy sites?
They’re all legitimate U.S. map, review, directory and data platforms, in 5 groups:

Data aggregators (3): Data Axle (formerly InfoGroup), Neustar Localeze, Foursquare. They pass your info on to hundreds of downstream websites and apps.
Maps and navigation (8): Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect (Apple Maps, Siri), Bing Places (Bing, Copilot), Waze, HERE WeGo, TomTom, MapQuest, Navmii.
Reviews and social (7): Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Nextdoor, Better Business Bureau, Alignable.
Beauty booking and discovery (7, set up only if your shop uses them): Booksy, StyleSeat, Vagaro, Fresha, MassageBook, ClassPass, Spafinder.
General business directories (25): Yellow Pages, Superpages, Manta, Hotfrog, MerchantCircle, Brownbook, EZlocal, Cylex, ShowMeLocal, ChamberofCommerce.com, Local.com, n49, 2FindLocal, iBegin, Opendi, Infobel, Find-Us-Here, CitySquares, Judy's Book, GoLocal247, LocalStack, Tupalo, Hub.biz, eLocal, AmericanTowns.

We never submit to adult or low-quality sites. The link and status of every platform are in your monthly report.
How long does it take to submit all 50 platforms? Can you guarantee they all go live and get indexed by Google?
We don’t submit everything at once — we submit in batches, in order, usually finishing within 3 months. Getting the most important platforms right and checking the details first stops wrong information from spreading to dozens of sites.

Weeks 1–2: core platforms. Google, Apple Maps, Bing, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Nextdoor. Google and Apple need the owner to verify (a short video, a phone call or a postcard), which usually takes a few days to two weeks; we’ll tell you how to help ahead of time.
Weeks 2–4: the 3 data aggregators. Data Axle, Neustar Localeze, Foursquare. They then pass your info to downstream sites and apps, which usually takes 1–3 months.
Months 2–3: general directories. A batch each month; if your shop uses Booksy, Vagaro or similar booking systems, we set those up at the same time.

What we can guarantee: every platform gets submitted, and your monthly report shows each one’s status: live, under review, waiting for your verification, or rejected. If a few platforms reject the listing or have stopped updating, we replace them with similar ones.
What nobody can guarantee: when each platform goes live or whether Google indexes it — that’s up to the platforms and Google, and can take days to months. Be careful with anyone who “guarantees all 50 platforms get indexed”.
Do I pay extra for the 50 platform submissions?
No. Submission to the 50 platforms is included in the Reviews Starter setup fee. The one-time claim or distribution fees on a few platforms (such as Foursquare claiming and Localeze data distribution) are also covered by us — we don’t charge you for them.

A few paid upgrades are optional, and they’re your call:
· BBB accreditation: from a few hundred dollars a year, depending on area and size. You can have a BBB profile without it.
· Paid upgrades on MapQuest, Yelp and Yellow Pages–type directories: such as more prominent placement. Not upgrading doesn’t affect submission.
· Booking systems like Booksy, Vagaro and StyleSeat: software your shop uses on a monthly subscription; if you already use one, we set up your details.

We’ll advise whether and when any upgrade makes sense for your shop, and we never sign you up for anything paid.
Are the automatic texts compliant?
Yes. Missed-call texts only reply to numbers that called you; review invitations only go to clients who visited and agreed to receive texts; every text can be stopped by replying STOP; and the sending number is registered for 10DLC as U.S. carriers require.
What do I need to prepare before we start?
Admin access to your Google Business Profile (we can help you request it if you don’t have it), 10–20 photos of your shop, your services and prices, and how clients book today. We go through each item with you on the kickoff call.
